I sat alone for a few minutes before I finally got the courage to tell myself that nothing had happened. I was wrong. 1 I washed my hands. From the kitchen I could see my boots by the front door. They were covered in mud. 2 I looked out the window afraid they were still out there. Did they see me go into the hut? Were they hurt? 3My pace slowed. I jumped back. Fuck. I got up and ran straight into the woods. The fence was still broken. I could hear the 4sound of trees crunching behind me. And then I heard him. 5 That thing, half-wolf half-man, was staring at me from behind an old ash tree. Fresh Blood dripping from his mouth. Please god, please tell6 he hasn't gotten to my brothers ... I AM GOING TO KILL HIM, even if it's the last thing I in my life 7
