I could see a silhouette of a little girl, she was staring into my eyes, her hair was matted with blood, her hair was draped all over 1the side of her face, she was wearing a scruffy dress 2 I wasn’t sure why, but I couldn’t drag my eyes from her frail form. Slowly, I began to step forward against my will 3 My feet felt heavy, and the sound of my shoes scraping on the ground echoed around us. The girl's form flickered and trembled. 4She stopped and stared at me. "Don't worry, we don't want to be here anymore." She said. Another scream came from the 5other side of the room, and I screamed. 6 From the corner, I heard a muffled snarl. My scream must have awoken whatever creature was sleeping there.Should I investigate? 7I stood up, stepped back and the door slammed shut. I heard the screaming again, it was louder than before. 8 I try to yank the door open! I can hear footsteps behind me.It is getting closer! I pull as hard as I can,and the door opens. .9'I saw you outside!' I hear the door slam again. I look back and see the girl's now rhythmic knob. I feel the cold air 10unlock the door and run into the street. I walk past the familiar street, the girl still comes from everywhere. She appears in front of 11me and I am forced to stand and watch her. She slowly looks up, her eyes wide with terror.'You're a ghost!'she screams. 12 I melt into myself - my hands turn into ephemeral tendrils that drift away from me. I watch my body dissolve into thin air. 13I stand up saying 'Where's my body?' 14
