I tried calling him, but he wouldn’t answer. I walked to the bathroom to get my son’s hands, and saw him there, standing over my son, 1his hands balled into a fist. His eyes were wide open, but his mouth was closed so tightly that I saw his mouth move and his head smile 2backwards. 3 There was a sudden sickening crack. It was his jaw dislocating from its socket. An overwhelming desire to faint enveloped me but I had 4 to remain conscious for the sake of my son! I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and as I tried to run I felt a hand grasp my ankle. Something had touched my leg. I 7screamed for help, but it was no use. I felt the blood on my face and the white shards of glass sprouted into the center of my face. 8
