I then looked out my window to the side of my house and I could see the figure of a man standing in the woods. I froze and then I ran 1after him. I ran and ran and ran and ran, and then I realized he was 2 not a man at all. But something far worse. It stopped to look back at me and the breath caught in my throat. 3It was a tall black humanoid figure with no facial features and i didn't know why it was staring. 4 I realised too late it was probing me, trying to find a way into my mind. An awful alien voice filled my head and I couldn’t run 5from it anymore. It felt like forever, and I felt something tickle me, a burning 6 that I knew would never stop. I understood now its sole purpose: not just killing me but erasing all memory of my existence 7. I was unable to move and I stared at this thing for a moment and then I felt its skin was cold and pale and then it felt 8like a shifting body in my lungs was trying to stay in my soul. 9 He was slowly taking over my body.. I could feel his alien presence inside me. He chosen me to be his host; his human companion 10 while he is going to take over the world. 11The sound of my last breath burned to a crack in his body. I could feel it raise above my body. I was terrified by what was 12coming. I looked up at my “body” and saw myself floating 13 In my last conscious thought, I felt sorry for the world, for it will be over soon, and felt proud of the alien race I belonged to 14

I then looked out my window to the side of my house and I could see the figure of a man standing in the woods. I froze and then I ran 1after him. I ran and ran and ran and ran, and then I realized he was 2 going deeper into the woods, and I followed him without noticing that the path had ended. It was pitch black and I couldn't see... 3my body started to feel like I was going to cut myself from the inside out. I couldn't see him anymore. 4 It was so painful to breathe after running so hard. I tried to catch my breath. When I calmed down, I could hear a noise near... 5like a small child pleading for help. My eyes closed and I was shaking and I was cold. I couldn't feel myself going 6anymore... 7 then I fainted, at least that was they said... 8I woke up in the hospital that night. I was so scared. I didn't sleep at all that night, but I had the same dream every 9night for a week. I was so scared of what was in that room. I don't know what to do. I still have nightmares about the man that was 10stalking me and waking up when I woke up. I still don't understand what happened to me. 11 But then doubts keep appearing. Who am I?, Why am l here? 12

All the while seeing colors and hearing 10 tones I couldn't recognize. Combined with the buzzing in my mind it was too much. As if these revelations were supposed to be payment 11 for the deletion of my existence. The faceless thing beckoned me closer, and despite my agony, I could not refuse. 12
